Refurbished Definitions

Quality Food Equipment (QFE) can provide everything from a single machine to a complete processing line.

Quality Food Equipment (QFE) sells equipment according to your choice of condition:

Ø As Is, Where Is

        This is the condition of the equipment when we purchase it and FOB from the location of purchase or from our shop.  Equipment sold “as is, where is” does not include any warranty.

Ø Running Condition

       The machine has been tested to ensure that it is operable prior to shipping.  However, it has not been  refurbished by our company or our certified service agents.  Equipment sold in “running condition” does not include any warranty.

Ø Refurbished

        Refurbished equipment is thoroughly examined by our technicians.  An assessment is made of parts and repairs needed to ensure reliability and proper function consistent with the manufacturer’s original specifications.  Refurbishing varies according to the type and condition of each machine and includes, as needed:

                1.          New bearings, seals, gaskets, hoses, connectors, blades, belts and sprockets.

2.          Cosmetic re-finishing

3.          Rewind motors

4.          Balance shafts

5.          Repair / replace: electrical systems and circuit boards, vacuum pumps, hydraulic components,

             safety covers and interlocking switches

“Refurbished” equipment is sold with a 90-day warranty on all non-wearable parts.
